Some Harley-Davidsons are built to be ridden. Others are built to be remembered.
This Harley-Davidson Night Rod, transformed by Bad Land in Japan, takes the factory power cruiser and pushes it deep into custom territory. The signature move is obvious: a massive 300-section rear tire, wrapped around an 18-inch wheel and framed by Bad Land’s one-off fabrication.
The stance is low, wide and unmistakably aggressive, but the details are what make this build work.
Bad Land fabricated the wide swingarm, rear fender, front fender, handlebar, exhaust and license bracket, giving the Night Rod a cohesive silhouette rather than simply adding bolt-on parts. The custom OUT-RAGE wheels measure 3.5×21 inches up front and 10.5×18 inches at the rear, wearing Avon Cobra tires in 120/70-21 and an enormous 300/35-18.
Braking comes from Rick’s Motorcycles 11.5-inch rotors, while Ohlins rear shocks keep the chassis hardware at the same serious level as the styling.
Up front, the Bad Land Type-D / Duke air box and Bad Land foot controls sharpen the mechanical side of the bike. Ken’s Factory supplies the mirrors, grips and LED turn signals, while a Cilone Speed seat and Bush Art custom paint finish the package.
The result is a Night Rod with a very different personality: stretched, muscular and deliberately excessive, but still remarkably clean.
