The AMB 001 PRO motorcycle from Aston Martin and Brough Superior is produced in a strictly limited edition and represents the latest collaboration between the two brands.
It combines Aston Martin’s legendary British design with the advanced engineering of French-built motorcycles. Offered exclusively in this PRO specification, it succeeds the previous AMB 001—which sold out entirely—and draws direct inspiration from the Valkyrie AMR Pro hypercar. That track-only car was created to push the boundaries of performance, and the AMB 001 PRO follows the same philosophy.
Designed for extreme track use, the AMB 001 PRO delivers a 25% increase in power compared to its predecessor. With 225 hp and a remarkable power-to-weight ratio of 1.28 hp/kg, it approaches levels typically seen in Formula 1®. The motorcycle comes in a single configuration featuring a distinctive racing livery that blends Aston Martin’s Verdant Jade with matte-finish carbon fiber. The engine and suspension components receive a black Cerakote treatment, while touches of Photon Lime highlight the machine’s connection to Aston Martin’s motorsport heritage.
As with other ultra-luxury, high-performance Aston Martin models, the AMB 001 PRO features the exclusive “lacewing” badge. Originally developed for the Valkyrie program, this chemically-etched aluminum emblem is 99.4% lighter than Aston Martin’s traditional enamel badge. At just 70 microns thick—roughly 30% thinner than a human hair—it is applied to the front aero deflector and the fuel tank, then sealed beneath a clear coat for a flawless finish.
The motorcycle’s aerodynamics have been extensively reengineered. The front wing and side winglets increase aerodynamic pressure, while a redesigned front deflector, now fixed directly to the bodywork, improves front-end downforce. Airflow is channelled over the rider through an intake integrated into the front wing, directing the air through the deflector and up toward the aerodynamic windscreen. A slim rear wing with an aero-stabilizing profile enhances the overall aerodynamic balance of the motorcycle.
Powering the AMB 001 PRO is a new 997 cc V-twin engine that pushes performance far beyond the original model. Machined entirely from a solid AL 5000-series aluminum block, the engine benefits from increased structural rigidity. A redesigned cylinder layout using wet liners further improves cooling efficiency, contributing to the engine’s impressive power gain and track-focused reliability.
