Killer Custom’s signature V-Rod formula is easy to recognize. The stock rear fender is chopped out, while the metalwork is predominantly blacked out. The result is a lower, cleaner and more aggressive silhouette that gives the Harley-Davidson Night Rod a much tougher presence.
Rather than relying on an expensive list of performance components, the Red BadBoy keeps much of the original motorcycle underneath. The stock suspension, wheels, swingarms and other major components remain in place. Killer Custom instead focuses on the bodywork and accessories to create the visual impact.
A full body kit dramatically changes the Night Rod’s proportions, while the brand’s signature handlebar, grips, front fork covers and lowering kit reinforce the aggressive stance. Most of these components are manufactured by Killer Custom themselves, making the transformation relatively straightforward without requiring a complete rebuild.
The blacked-out metal parts contrast with the bike’s deep red bodywork, giving the Red BadBoy its name and its distinctive streetfighter-inspired character. It is a good example of how a carefully developed custom formula can make a familiar motorcycle look completely different.
