The R-Odynamic is a striking custom motorcycle built upon the iconic Thunderbike Dragster R-Odynamic Framekit (2011).
This machine is a bold expression of precision engineering and aggressive styling, customized by the renowned German workshop Thunderbike.
At its heart beats a Harley-Davidson Twin Cam EFI engine, delivering an impressive 108 PS of raw power. The setup features Screamin’ Eagle air intake, Harley-Davidson ignition, and a powerful Vance & Hines exhaust system, ensuring both performance and a thunderous sound signature. Power is transmitted through a Harley-Davidson 6-speed gearbox (2011), complemented by a K-Tech hydraulic clutch for smooth shifting.
The custom dragster sits on a raked frame with a 34° rake and a 1.5° tilt, equipped with Thunderbike’s signature Einarmschwinge (single-sided swingarm) and the sophisticated Thunderbike Air Ride suspension, offering adjustable comfort and stance. The Thunderbike R-O front end further enhances the bike’s aggressive profile.
Rolling on Thunderbike Vegas Cut wheels, sized 4.5×23 in the front and a massive 9×21 in the rear, the R-Odynamic boasts Avon 130/60-23 and Metzeler 260/35-21 tires respectively.
Braking is handled by high-performance ABM radial calipers at the front and Nissin 6-piston calipers at the rear, paired with custom Thunderbike discs – a 320mm front and a 21” perimeter rear brake disc.
Every detail reflects Thunderbike’s craftsmanship: custom rocker boxes, handlebar, grips, footpegs, and brake/clutch cylinders. The custom fuel tank, fenders, and tailored electric system combine Harley-Davidson components with Thunderbike innovation. The minimalist headlamp and custom Ankert seat round out the build with a touch of elegance.
The custom paintwork by Ingo Kruse (Kruse Design) gives the R-Odynamic a unique finish, completing a drag-style cruiser that’s as much a work of art as it is a high-performance machine.
