Thunderbike is based in Hamminkeln on the Lower Rhine and is one of the best-known custom bike builders in Europe. Their fame grew after they won the AMD European Championship of Custom Bike Building in 2006 with the “Spectacular,” and again in 2008 with “Open Mind.” Even though these bikes were showpieces, Thunderbike follows one clear rule: every motorcycle that leaves the workshop must be rideable. Thunderbike strikes again with another breathtaking custom project, this time transforming the Harley-Davidson Softail Breakout into a true street machine — the ‘GP Style’.

This aggressive and streamlined build combines performance-driven aesthetics with Thunderbike’s renowned attention to detail.

At the heart of this transformation is the Thunderbike New Digger front wheel, setting a powerful tone for the stance of the bike. The custom Alu Fuel Tank GP-Style seamlessly integrates with the frame, emphasizing a low, aerodynamic profile. Both front and rear fenders have been replaced with Thunderbike GP-Style components, with the rear fender designed to accommodate a massive 260 mm tire, enhancing both grip and visual impact.

Handling is optimized through the Thunderbike Air Ride Suspension Kit, which provides height adjustability and comfort without compromising on style. Steering dynamics are sharpened with the Grand Prix bicolor triple tree kit and matching clip-on handlebars, delivering a sporty, café racer feel.

Performance isn’t left behind either — the Thunderbike Oval Airbox Kit feeds the engine efficiently, while the Grand Prix exhaust system not only boosts output but also delivers a deep, aggressive tone.
