]]>The Sportster S, boasting a modern chassis and the remarkably agile Rev-Max 1250T engine, not only offers a broad rev range due to its variable timing but also packs a staggering peak power of 122 hp on the road. This makes it an ideal foundation for Thunderbike’s supersport custom projects.
In this instance, their project underwent significant modifications. They incorporated the sporty GT wheels, sized 6.00 x 18 inches at the rear and 3.50 x 21 inches at the front. A groundbreaking development involved the redesign of the Sportster S’s front wheel to accommodate dual brake discs for the first time.
This required new milled brake caliper mounts for the upside-down fork and the addition of a Brembo radial brake caliper. To enhance responsiveness, they also coated the stanchions in gold DLC.
To complement the sporty concept, the bike received a revamped seating position through Thunderbike’s relocated footrest system and custom triple clamps with mounts for a flat handlebar specifically crafted for the Sportster S. This adjustment ensures that the riding position aligns perfectly with the bike’s new dynamics.
The alteration to a 21″ front wheel and 340 mm brake discs not only enhances the bike’s sporty appearance but also boosts its agility. The slimmer front tire notably improves handling, while the upgraded brake system, featuring dual-disc brakes, delivers exceptional performance.
The project incorporates meticulously crafted parts from Thunderbike’s SPS series, including the radiator cowling, engine cover, pulley cover, shock absorber cover, headlight cowling, grips, indicators, and more, all finely milled. The paint scheme, conceptualized by Kruse Design, consistently underscores the bike’s sporting ambitions.
The sleek exhaust system from J&H seamlessly integrates with the overall design. Additionally, the seat, crafted by Spirit Leather, not only enhances aesthetics but also offers optimized support with its improved shape.

]]>In the Netherlands, Powerbrick Performance has crafted the BMW K1100RS Cafe ‘Vengeance‘, a marvel that boasts significant modifications aimed at enhancing its performance and aesthetics (Cafe racer style). For inquiries, they can be contacted via email at [email protected]
Under the guidance of Tim Somers, the shop boss, this custom motorcycle transcends mere power upgrades. It’s a thoughtful effort to establish a more direct and responsive connection between the rider’s hand and the rear wheel. Notable modifications include meticulously ported heads, optimized timing facilitated by an NGK ignition system, and the conversion to a hydraulic clutch.
The motorcycle showcases a range of enhancements, such as new RC Racing aluminum radiators paired with SamcoSport silicon hoses for improved performance and style. The inline-four motor of each bike features a lineup of DNA filters, complemented by the installation of new Bosch EV14 injectors. Exhaust-wise, each K1100 sports a pie-cut stainless steel four-into-one system from MAD Exhausts, accompanied by a Powerbrick muffler.
Powerbrick has re-engineered the electrical system with a Bluetooth-enabled Motogadget brain, powered by a NOCO Lithium battery and equipped with a Ctek charging point.
TFX Suspension adjustable shocks grace the rear of each K1100. The wheels, custom-fitted billet aluminum pieces from AC Schnitzer initially designed for the BMW R nineT, have been adapted through custom-made adaptors. Brembo components and Venhill brake lines complete the braking systems.
Rather than attempting to alter the distinctive lines of the K1100RS’ fuel tank, Powerbrick chose to customize the rest of the bike’s bodywork to harmonize with it. Standout modifications include new subframes, machined from substantial aluminum billets. Comprising seven parts, these subframes accommodate the custom seat, electronics, a compact rear cowl, and an integrated taillight.
The design precision extends to the minutest details, exemplified by the seat mounting mechanism. The seat seamlessly slides into place under the rear cowl, fastened by two concealed bolts beneath the tank.
Laser and computer-guided production methods were heavily employed, eliminating human errors and ensuring consistency. The right side of bike has been opened up significantly, with only the battery suspended above the engine, made possible by an overhauled wiring system for greater efficiency.
The thoughtfulness extends to the cockpit, fitted with Powerbrick clip-ons, Brembo controls, Motogadget push buttons, and bar-end turn signals. Powebrick rear-set foot controls sit at a lower position for improved ergonomics.
Additional parts from Powerbrick’s catalog, such as headlight cowls encompassing Koso LED headlights, gas caps, and tank roundels, seamlessly integrate into the design.
The paintwork was skillfully executed by Royal Kustom Works, while the seats were crafted by Silvermachine, Europe’s esteemed motorcycle upholsterer.

]]>Their synergy shines in this uncompromising build.
They overhauled the front forks with CeraCarbon carbon fiber uppers and a Matris cartridge kit, making them fully adjustable. The TFX Suspension rear shock follows suit.
While retaining the 9T’s Brembo brakes, they swapped the laced rims for striking Rotobox Bullet carbon fiber wheels wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires.
To preserve the 9T’s essence, the original fuel tank stayed, complemented by a sleeker air intake from Pier City Cycles in place of the stock chunky one.
The boxer’s subframe and seat brackets were replaced with a stubby 3D-printed subframe housing a slim LED taillight crafted by Silver Machine.
Upgrades include a Powerbrick headlight nacelle, custom yokes, and clip-ons machined by Tim. The bars boast leather-wrapped grips, Motogadget push buttons, and Beringer master cylinders for the brake and hydraulic clutch. A Motogadget digital dash handles speedo duties.
Under the hood, the air- and oil-cooled boxer motor remains stock internally, with CNCPT installing DNA pod filters in place of the air box. The stainless steel exhaust system, custom-designed by CNCPT and manufactured by MAD Exhausts, gives a nod to retro sportbike aesthetics.
The livery boasts a sleek black and silver design, highlighted by a silver finish on the front half of the frame and black accents. Royal Jack handled the paintwork, while Brother Coating managed the powder coating and anodizing.
