Do I need special charging equipment to own a LiveWire™ motorcycle?
No you do not…the LiveWire™ motorcycle has an on-board Level 1 charger and can be charged through most standard household outlets. It’s also fast charge capable.
What sound does LiveWire™ make?
The gear set between the motor and the drive belt has been designed to produce a tone that increases in pitch and volume with speed, producing an exciting aural response to speed and acceleration.
Where will the LiveWire™ motorcycle be built?
Designed at Harley-Davidson’s Product Development Center in Wisconsin and built at Harley-Davidson’s state of the art manufacturing facility in York, PA.
Will Harley-Davidson offer additional electric motorcycles?
We intend for the all-new LiveWire™ motorcycle to be followed by an exciting portfolio of two-wheeled electric vehicles.
What is the difference between Project LiveWire™ and LiveWire™?
Project Livewire™ was an electric prototype model created in 2014. We allowed real riders to test out the motorcycle across the world, and feedback was collected on the experiences and features of the motorcycle. This input was then used to refine the development of the all-new LiveWire™ motorcycle – a next generation electric motorcycle that builds on the performance of the original prototype.
